Catherine Katt lives and works in Minneapolis Minnesota.

Catherine has been drawing and painting all her life. She drew her first horse as a child. Her talent was recognized and encouraged by family and at school.

She studied classical painting and drawing under Thomas Locker, photography with Gary Hallman and etching and lithography with Zigmunds Priede.

Drawing and painting have been part of her way of sharing moments of insights and humor from the local scenes where country meets city life in the Heartland of America.

Her sunlit portraits of people and horses captured in the light and shadow define her vision of a colorful world rich with spirit and traditions.
